Project Date: November 2019
Develop a brand identity for a live concert being put on at Johnson & Wales University. Peripherals that are needed include: posters, stage backdrop, access passes, marketing promos, handbills & stickers. A team of myself and three other talented student designers teamed up with the SEEM class at JWU to put on a fall concert at the JWU Pepsi Forum.
Each team member was responsible for designing a particular asset that would be used to promote the concert.
After getting the brand identity approved, I went to work creating the posters that would be printed out & distributed around the campus to advertise the event.
As well as a multi poster backdrop that would be hung with pipe & drape at the live concert. Using Illustrator, the brand development that went into these peripherals was both effortless and strategic and solving the design problem.
The design process began with brainstorming sessions with the team to determine the overall look & feel of the brand.
The end result was a huge success, the event had good turnout & the peripherals were effectively used by our client in their tasks for the venue. Our creative team got published by JWU, the blog is available on their site discussing our project roles.
