Problem:
Develop a user interface that will give access to the weather in the Greater New England area, but also incorporate a branding image behind it that makes the user want to keep coming back to use the app to check the weather.

Solution:
User testing concluded & improvements were made from feedback to enhance the app to be better for all users. The subtle brand humor was enjoyed & the app came together with excellent functionality, easy navigation & aspect ratio responsiveness.

I started with assembling a strong, trusting & professional branding image with a hint of New England verbiage humor to keep the user engage in a simple weather app. Sketches & wireframes were created, tested & used actual live weather data from an API. Smaht Weather is a real live working app that was built in HTML, CSS & Sass, pulled data from DarkSky API, animated and brought to life through After Effects and Javascript.
